TWO SHIFTS IN 2018!
Our Signature Fundraiser! 10th ANNUAL Bowling for Boobies
to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
It's very hard to fathom the fact that this year's Bowling for Boobies bowl-a-thon for the National Breast Cancer Foundation will be our 10th Annual. 10 years of bringing our community together all in the name of one cause: fighting breast cancer. In the 9 years we've run this event, participants have managed to raise $50,000 for breast cancer research, awareness, mammograms, etc.
Our goal this year: $10,000.
We want to hit $10,000 raised in ONE day for our 10th Anniversary.
If we stop and look at our own lives, there's at least one person we all know who's been affected by breast cancer. It's a universal disease that strikes women AND men. Help us continue the fight against this dreaded disease by taking part in our event.

"This fundraiser is my baby. My pride and joy. I love all of the events we run, but this one is special to me because of the people I know who've had breast cancer in their lives. Maybe not personally, but in their family.
Bowling for Boobies has managed to take on a life of it's own. It's an event that people reach out to me about months in advance. Before I had even finalized the entry forms, our shift was full."
With that, we decided to create a second shift again this year. Lanes (as usual) are going fast.
When: Saturday, Feb. 17th, 2018.
Times: 1st shift check-in is from 11 AM-11:45 AM with bowling at 12 Noon Sharp.
2nd shift check-in is from 2 PM-2:45 PM with bowling at 3 PM Sharp.
Cost: $25.00 per person and this includes bowling, shoe rental and a T-Shirt.
How can you help us hit the $10k goal? Easy!
1) Call and reserve a lane. You can fit up to 6 people on 1 lane.
2) Print off a pledge sheet from our website (or pick one up at T&C) and go out and collect pledges for your bowling. Either do a flat rate ($5, $10, etc.) or a pay-per-pin pledge.
3) Spend money the day of the event on our raffles, silent auctions, etc.
4) Help us get companies (or individuals!) to be a lane sponsor for a minimum $50.00 tax-deductible donation.
5) Help us collect raffle and silent auction items. The fewer items that need to be purchased as Door or Raffle prizes, the more money that's kept back as profit.We do a lot of work for this event, but it cannot be done by ourselves. We have some amazing people who volunteer each year to help us on the day of the event. But, help is needed in the month leading up to it as well.

"Moonbeams" Paint Party presented by Paint The Town Red
When: Friday, February 23rd (event starts at 6:30 PM Sharp)
NOTE: EVENT IS SOLD OUT! Please read on & contact PtTR directly to get on a waiting list (or, if enough people ask, a second party can be created).
Meet some new friends and work together step by step to paint a take-home your own version of "Moonbeams" on 16x20 canvas with non-toxic acrylic paint. We will have a few laughs, and you'll walk away with something to hang on the wall and impress your friends. This painting is great for all skill levels.

If you didn’t get into this event and still want to paint this one, please let us know. We can either put you on a waitlist (and let you know if anyone cancels), or if enough people want it, we can schedule a second paint party.

Upcoming Fundraiser to benefit the Town of Burlington Fire Department
When: Sunday, February 25th at 1:00 PM Sharp (Registration from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 PM)
Come out and support the Town of Burlington Fire Department at our upcoming annual bowling fundraiser.
This year, the funds raised are put towards the following entities...
$1,000.00 to the expansion of the Veterans Memorial at Echo Park
...with the balance being split between the following...
The Tri-County Training Facility being built in the City of Burlington; and an RDC (Rapid Deployment Craft ), which is used for water-related rescue situations.
The RDC inflates in seconds, can be easily stored when not in use, weighs about 50 pounds, so it can easily be easily carried by 1 person, can be launched without access to a boat ramp and be on the scene in action in seconds.
Cost: $25.00 per person, which includes 3 games of bowling & shoe rental.
Come out and meet new people by bowling individually or get together a team of 5 or 6 people.

A popular fundraiser! B&D's Softball Team/T&C Youth Bowling Program 9-Pin Tap Fundraiser
When: Saturday, March 10th at 2:00 PM Sharp (Check-in from 1:00 PM-1:45 PM)
Proceeds from this tournament will be split between the T&C Youth Bowling Program & the B&D's Softball Team.
Cost: $25 per person, includes three games of 9-Pin Tap bowling & shoe rental, plus food served afterwards. We'll have various raffles & a silent auction as well.
You can have a maximum of six bowlers on a lane. we will take a maximum of 18 lanes.

2nd Annual Vets Roll Spring 8-Pin Tap fundraiser presented by Edstrom Industries
When: Saturday, April 28th, 2017 at 11:00 AM sharp (check-in starts at 10:00)
Please join us for a family friendly 8-pin No-Tap Bowling Fundraiser for Vets Roll.
Cost: $20.00 per person to bowl, which includes 3 games of bowling and shoe rental.
We will have raffle items, silent auctions, etc. the day of the event.
Thanks to the support and donations at last years event, we were able to donate $7,500.00 to Vets Roll. We would love to break that record as 100% of the proceeds raised are given to Vet's Roll.
Can't bowl? Stop down to participate in the raffles or make a donation if you'd prefer. We are looking for donation items to be used as raffle prizes as well.
Remember that this Spring fundraiser is in addition to the Kansasville Amvets Post 911 fundraiser held in the Fall, also supporting the Vets Roll program. Your support of either, or both, fundraisers is greatly appreciated.
